Our mission is rooted in lived experience, compassion, and a commitment to restoring dignity through structured guidance, safe transitions, and access to life-changing resources.

Our Story
I Am Great Minds Inc. was founded in Charlotte, NC by the Executive Director/Founder Anthony Thompson, a leader who rebuilt his own life after incarceration through education, service, and commitment to community. His journey inspired the nonprofitโs core belief: every person is capable of change when given structured opportunity and support.
With President Inita Griffin leading alongside him, the organization is grounded in compassion, professional excellence, and a deep understanding of what true reentry support requires.
